    Firefox Quantum suspicious activity

    Hi.
My Firefox browser auto-updated to quantum last night. I am willing to give it a try, even thought it doesn't support the addons I use. My issue is that every time I run FQ my internet security software (ESET) notifies me multiple times about two addresses its blocking. Could somebody explain what those are (malicious or not) and how I can prevent Firefox Quantum from doing that.
Posting screen shots of the addresses.
Notifications are in greek, so I translated
    thanks in advance

    Hi.
I don't know if this is your problem, but I will tell you what I've seen on several systems from this Quantum update:

    Common Situation:
    • Systems themselves are 64-bit, originally using FF 32-bit
    • Systems were auto-updated to 64-bit FF
    • Systems were auto-upgraded to 64-bit Quantum

Problems started showing up with AV blocking FF-related files/executables/connections

What I found was, the FF auto-update from 32-bit to 64-bit FF, left some FF "active" executables in the Programs Files (x86) folder, which the 64-bit version was calling. This was creating the AV warnings.

I had to completely remove all FF instances from the system, clear it out of the registry, and reinstall Quantum clean. This solved the problem. Maybe it will work for you.

Thank you, I do have to try that I guess. Or maybe I will go back to Firefox 56. For the time being Quantum doesn't support DTA/DTAoc, or flashgot. Bulk MD is totally useless. I can't operate like this . I'll try quantum again in a month or so.

    Good luck. Cheers!
