Hello from Microsoft Edge on Android

Using 42.0.22.3418 now. Still the app freezing problems have not been resolved. Webpages feel so much lighter on firefox & Tenta browser compared to edge.

This problems is more apparent when you are on a long page full of text. Find in page causes the app to jam.

Anybody else noticed this?

It's smooth for me except when it isn't. Google blogs pages make the app freeze. The bug when scrolling history is still not fixed. There are some problems while playing videos too.

Also, for some reason NO browser supports find in page on twitter.

The topmost review now echoes my experience using the app.

"Automatic page redirects that you can't stop. The browser hangs or freezes at least once a day and almost causes my whole phone to freeze. Even though Edge is made by Microsoft, it can't handle MSN websites that have embedded video. No ability to set desktop as page preference. Text is always too big on mobile sites. A mixed quality experience overall. I used to love Edge on my Windows phone."

I have been testing 42.0.24.3888 since last two days but the latest version on apkmirror is 42.0.22.3888 and that was only uploaded today.

@slicendice I agree. Though zometimes apkmirror gets the latest version even before it is available on play store.

I have used microsoft edge since it has come out. It is by far the best browser for me. I love its style, UI and touch responsiveness. But it has yet to get classic edge features like pdf reader and inking.

@slicendice The new menu is still in A/B testing. I guess I'll get it when they release new edge daily channel.
