In that case, you might try Option 1 to export them as a HTML file from Edge, then import the HTML file to Chrome.
Wow, I keep going back and forth, to me it seems the wording and order of things is really confusing (for a non-techie anyway). Tut contents says 2 options, #2 has 1-4 listed on that page (didnt work), but 2 links of option #1 are not, ya have to click to go to another page. The first link is there, but now it also shows doing option 2 differently than prrevious page. Then I click the second link of option 1, "Import the html frrom mse to chrome"......but, it brings me to "To export google chrome bookmarks to html file", not what it says for the second link/section of option 1, Im going nuts trying to find the wording it says Im supposed to find/what to do.
You would use Option 1 below to export to HTML file from Edge.

Next, use Option 2 below to import the HTML file to Chrome.

Be sure to go step by step in the tutorials, and you should be good to go.
I guess itworked. To get a favorites now, I go to the 3 dots/bookmarks/imported/imported from IE/click on the one I want. So this is how Chrome does things? Thought everything about Chrome was suppose to be better/easier......I have a bunch of sites listed I never added......dont have the list where IE had "Organize Favorites", etc., and other words.
Order/wording is still off (?), doing the second part is not the same title as the second link of Option one shown on the tutorial.
And still, how do I get those words I had at upper left, the file/edit, etc?
You can drag and drop and delete bookmarks directly in Chrome.
You could also open the "Bookmark Manager" to organize them how you like.
So in IE, ya click the star, and there was the list of favorites to click on. Is there some steps I can eliminate, or is this how Chrome really does it.....dots/bookmarks/imported/imp. from IE/then clk on your favorite?
And does anybody know how I get those 5 or 6 words with the dropdown menus at upper left?
