Well the theme is very basic. If you look here:

Then make a copy of the file and rename it with the .jpg extension you can see that it just overlays an image.

It doesn't make any other modifications so I wouldn't expect the developer to update it.

Maybe you could find another similar theme?

    How about this one?

Well, im sorry, but that looks nothing like it

I see that the buttons in your theme are clearly visible though, so its probably the luna xp theme that is broken.

The only way I've found is to change the background colour of the forward/ back buttons using css.

    See:

Here's what it looks like using built in dark theme (compact)

Compact option gets rid of the circles but makes everything smaller.

Well, you are posting a lot of screengrabs, so im not sure whats going on.

Also, i dont have any knowledge of programming with css, so i guess my best bet is to try and get in touch with the developer of the windows xp luna theme.

I should probably also mention, that i have been using firefox quantum for about two weeks, and theres been no lag, and firefox is running fast and smooth. So, since im using the same settings and addons, im guessing that it was an issue with a previous version of firefox, that has now been fixed.

It seems though, that firefox wont open sometimes, regardless of how many times i click on it. If i check with task manager, it shows that firefox is running, but its clearly not. I have tried reinstalling firefox, but it didnt solve the problem.

Sadly, i lost my settings and addons after reinstalling firefox, but thankfully i have this thread to help me get them back again.

Well ran into a new issue with FF where it wouldn't start up regardless of how many times i click on it. Task manager shows that FF is running, but its clearly not. Googling it wasnt helpful so i had to reinstall FF again. Good thing i have this thread to help me do my tweaks again.
Happened to me too. Now it starts throwing fits and errors when left running a day or two.

May i ask, did you try doing a complete uninstall of firefox, and then install it again?

I suggest using revo uinstaller to scan and clean any leftover files, and start from fresh again.

Yes, exactly what I did, luckily I at least had recent backup of Bookmarks. BTW, had to kill FF process first.

I had to remove it and re install it. Then I went back to Firefox 59 Beta and all is well.

Speaking of 59, what are chances it gets released soon and how's it behaving as last beta ?

It is up to BETA 12 so it should be released soon. The 59 BETA 12 works better than Fx 58. That was the version I had to remove as it would not completely close. No such issue with Fx 59.
