    Click the three dots and you should see the option to remove it. Right click "Bookmark this page"
    Alright, thats pretty simple and it works. I was completely unaware that you could just remove it like that.

    I don't get any pop up. There's a ton of about:config tweaks that I use but too many to post here and explain in detail.
    I did some research, and it seems like unchecking the option that says allow firefox to send crash reports to mozilla doesnt disable the crash reporter from what i have read. It also doesnt seem to prevent it from popping up if firefox should crash, but i will have to give it some time to see if it works.

    Also, i did a look to see if i could find a setting called moz_crashreporter_disable in about config, but it seems like they removed it completely.

    Well FF should not be crashing after a clean install. Try this:

    In FF address bar type about:support then press Enter.

    Try restarting with addons disabled and see if you get the same problems. Also consider using the Refresh option.

    Also visit Google (click this link)

    Click on the padlock and right click the arrow. Click "More Information" then "View Certificate"

    Post a screenshot please.

    My impression is that FF is a bit impatient when it comes to downloading a page or a site. When my internet is slow is when most crashes happen but as soon as I reload that page it opens it. Until v57 that was happening very rarely, mabe a price to pay for increased speed ?

    Well, so far firefox hasnt been crashing for some time, but i remember that it did a few times before quantum. I just want to disable the crash reporter that pops up when it happens, without sending anything to mozilla. I posted a screengrab previously.

    The method to disable the crash reporter is also in your link

    Not sure if it's still valid, (Quantum "57" broke a lot of things), and it's a little unclear as to specifics check the paragraph after Can I disable Crash Reporter?

    this does involve editing the registry and adding (Windows, or Firefox
    variables and setting them, not sure from their wording), so it's something they do not seem to want you to do Obviously if you go this route, backup everything including a the registry and preferably the whole system before you start

    Well yes, but im not a big fan of doing it this way. I would prefer to change it in about config.

    I can understand your feelings but it may well be that Mozilla does not want too many users opting out of the telemetry sent after crashes, so are not going to provide a simple About Config option.

    Someone may have automated the procedure that they do offer, but I have not seen anything in my "travels"

    Tested a few methods. None worked to disable crash reporter (app) except this one;

    Delete the files crashreporter.exe and crashreporter.ini from the program directory (exit firefox first)

    Tested by manually crashing Firefox then seeing if the crash reporter application launches and if any crash reports are submitted.

    Manual crash can be initiated like this:

    In about:config change devtools.chrome.enabled value to true

    Open Scratchpad with Shift+F4 (when Firefox is running)

    Switch Environment tab to Browser and run this:

    Code:
    Cu.import("resource://gre/modules/ctypes.jsm");
    let zero = new ctypes.intptr_t(8);
    let badptr = ctypes.cast(zero, ctypes.PointerType(ctypes.int32_t));
    badptr.contents;
    It will crash.

    RE: I want to set focus to google search when i open a new window, instead of the adress bar.

    You can install an addon to set the focus: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/fir...-tab-override/

    RE: Firefox freezes for a few seconds randomly sometimes.

    Try disabling hardware acceleration by unchecking both options here:

    I installed your Luna Theme but couldn't find a way to modify the buttons. That doesn't mean that it cannot be done but the theme seems to use an image overlay.
