P.S how do you change what the new tab shows? I want it to show google.
Click the Customize new tab button on the right corner while on a new tab, there you ll find options on what to do. And for Google, you can make it your default search engine in Firefox Options.

Put google on the bookmarks bar, when you want to open a new tab with that, wheel click it.

Alright, so far theres no lag after i have installed firefox quantum.

Also, does anyone know how to get rid of the message that says firefox has blocked the acces to this webiste?

It happens with harmless websites, and you have to click on add an exception to get access to the website.

It sounds like your Antivirus doing SSL scanning and interfering with the connection or certificate. Or you have some other sort of web filter in place?

Have a look at certificate manager in firefox and check to see if there is a certificate added b your AV. If so you might need to delete it and re-import it.
