I've found that for a few sites not sending referrer prevents downloads from those sites but it's no big deal to re-enable.

After update to 59.0.2, everything has become normal for me.

@Callender thanks, will check them out.

Anyway, firefox seems to have gotten slow and sluggish again, so i made a fresh profile. It seems that creating a new profile gets rid of the sluggishness temporarely, but it always comes back again.

My problem with Firefox now is that it is consuming so much of my processor, causing my Fan to spin in overload, the noise is phenoninal, constantly running at high speed.

Firefox is using about 3% of my cpu most of the time. Are you running loads of addons?

No mate, its when I visit certain sites that has a lot of Items like the Democrats & Veterans party site on Facebook it loads 6 firefox items in my Task Manager and my CPU usage is at 32% and makes a hell of a noise. If I close all the Firefox instances in Task Manager the computer goes nice and quiet again.
