    RE: I want to change the adress bar click behavior, so clicking the text once selects all the text, so i can start typing the adress of a website i want to visit right away.

    I'm not sure that it's a Firefox issue. I don't have that problem but check this in about:config

    browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll
    value should be true

    If set to true then check mouse click options in control panel or run your mouse control software if you have any.

    RE: Disable the page actions button in the top right corner.

    You can use this: chrome.zip

    Extract the folder named Chrome and drop it in your FF Profile.

    Note: If you already have a Chrome folder then it probably won't work. In that case you'd need to make additional modifications.

    Folder contains a custom userChrome.css file to remove Page Actions. You need to close FF to make th changes.

    For anyone else reading: Contents of userChrome.css file

    Code:
    #pageActionButton {
        display: none !important;
    }
    Save as UNICODE (Encoding) with file name userChrome.css

    It seems to work, but i was hoping that i could do it with a fix in about config, instead of installing addons?

    Try disabling hardware acceleration
    I have already tried disabling it, and it didnt solve the problem. With that being said, i havent had any lag since i upgraded to firefox quantum.

    I installed your Luna Theme but couldn't find a way to modify the buttons. That doesn't mean that it cannot be done but the theme seems to use an image overlay.
    Well, the windows xp luna theme used to work flawlessly, but a firefox update some time ago broke it, so the menu, update and back and forward buttons are now greyed out.

    I have already set it to true, but it only works sometimes. Its a bit annoying. Sometimes, if i open a new tab and click on the adress bar, it wont select all the text with just one click, so i have to mark all the text with my mouse, and then i can type the website that i want to visit.

    I was mostly hoping for a fix in about config, since im not much for coding.

    Possibly a DNS Lookup issue - especially if you are using your ISP's DNS.

    RE: Scratchpad.

    In about:config change devtools.chrome.enabled value to true

    With Firefox running launch Scratchpad by pressing Shift+F4

    You only need to do that if you want to test that CrashReporter is disabled and want to initiate a crash manually for test purposes.

    It only works with the first website when you open FF. If you open a new tab and then click on the adress bar, it will not select all the text with just one click, so you have to mark all the text with your mouse manually and then delete it before you can type a website. This is very annoying. Google chrome didn't have this issue.
    I can't reproduce the problem. It works fine for me.

    See:

    RE: about:config fix for page actions button. I'm pretty sure that there isn't one. It's pretty straightforward to drop the attached file in the chrome folder though.

    Just a suggestion:

    Create a Bookmark about:blank, wheel-click it to open in a New Tab with cursor already focused in Address Bar:

    Also:
    if you want New Tab to open to a certain page, bookmark that page and wheel-click that to open in a New Tab:

    You can also wheel-click anywhere on the Firefox Header to open another original New Tab:

    I found that it works most of the time, but firefox still fails to select all the text sometimes.
