You can't open that in some sort of database application like Access and modify it? Or is it a proprietary database?
Proprietary - there's no Microsoft application available. There are third-party tools, a viewer from NirSoft...

...and a third-party editor tool called EdgeManage. Read the whole (lengthy) thread before deciding if you want to risk using it...

Yeah, importing bookmarks into a "folder" is what originally got me to look for a way to bulk manage them in the old way. I figured I tried this new browser after the "Creators Update", but seriously, it's been years and it seems like a step backwards. I don't understand who thinks up of these things. I mean, what's the purpose of "reducing battery consumption" from a lowly browser application anyway if they have to mess up the actually useful functionalities. :-/

    Simple answer:

    Open EDGE
    ENTER : edge://favorites/

    Welcome to Ten Forums.

You do know you replied to a thread that's more than three years old? The 'Edge' the previous replies were talking about is what's now known as Legacy Edge. Your Chromium Edge was even in the planning stage until a year later.

On December 6, 2018, Microsoft announced its intent to base Edge on the Chromium source code

Why does it matter? I was looking for an answers for EDGE and found nothing but this thread. When I found the answer on my own, I made the post. I can imagine others do the same thing and my post will be helpful.

Might I ask why you haven't deleted threads that pertain to now obsolete apps?

    Thanks for your reply!
