You do NOT need Adobe Flash on Edge Browser to play U-Tube.

It has already been posted but will repeat if you still wish to have Adobe Flash.....open Edge and click on three dots top right corner.....scroll down to Advanced Settings.... see attachment.....if Adobe not showing you need to download it then you can choose on or off.

Yes I did with that to make sure Adobe Flash is on in Settings but still doesn't make any difference. I believe that the only way is to reset the PC to solve the problem. Unless you come up with a better idea to solve this problem.

This problem started occurring after the latest update for me, you tube played movie with no problem. In addition they are the ones I purchased/rented from Google Play. They work on my Android phone, just not on edge. I reset all to default and selected to run, still no luck.

@bknight2602 - If you have update to newest Flash Player for Windows (KB4051613) then you must uninstall that!

Look in Program and Features select "Installed updates" to check (and evt. uninstall) see this link:

KB4051613 Update for Adobe Flash Player: November 1, 2017

Thanks for responding, however, I don't find an installed Flash Player by adobe. All I have is a Reader installed.

Not to interrupt, but I think Gordon is talking about removing the Flash Windows Update (KB4051613) to see if that is the issue.

I don't remember the steps that I took to do the reset.

There is no Adobe program in the program and features except Reader. I don't know anything further.

It' a Windows update supplied by Microsoft.

Settings > Update & security > View installed update history > Uninstall updates

Look for it in the 'Microsoft Windows' section.

Ah, yes it was there. Uninstalled it, and I believe I have to restart before changes will take effect. I'll post back results.
    Thanks to all.
