    " Your Gmail Settings are out of Date"

    I can't seem to get my Gmail account to work with says my settings are out of date, but they are not.......this happened after I changed my Gmail password.... I have tried all of the obvious fixes, but it still won't work......any thoughts appreciated.......Del.

    Mmmhh.......managed to get it working again, by turning ON "less secure apps.".....but this has flagged up a security problem, and is recommending "two step verification"......I shall investigate..........

    If you have 2-step authentication enabled you may require an app specific password for Outlook.
