    IE11 Freezes

    Hi
    I'm running Windows 10 and when I use IE11 as the browser, sometimes after a short period of time, the page freezes and gives a "message "Windows is not responding"

    Windows 10 is fully up to date and this issue doesn't happen when I use "Edge , Chrome or Firefox". I like IE 11 and don't want to use the other browsers. I have reset IE 11, makes no difference.
    Hopefully someone can help with a solution.

    - Check the Event Log and post error code. You may also google the error code for more info.

    - Sometimes this is an issue with internet connection. But since other browsers, work maybe not.
    Still may want to troubleshoot your connection and flush dns

    You could try the things in this old(from Sept. 2015) thread of mine, and see if it helps: Internet Explorer Crashing - Solved - Windows 10 Forums

    hi Torre and Cliff S

    I flushed the DNS and I also run the command prompt Cliff had suggested ( I'm glad you could copy and paste the command). It run without any violations. IE 11 appears to be slightly faster, I'll run it over the next couple of days and report back.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Cliff S

    Unfortunately my issue is not resolved, IE 11 froze virtually immediately I accessed a site. I also get a lot of script errors. I looked at the history, but I'm not sure it tells very much;

    The program iexplore.exe version 11.0.14393.953 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

    If you have any 3rd party add-ons like JAVA, WOT(specially WOT, that used to crash my IE a lot!), Lync add-on, or Skype, any add blockers, OneNote and so on.

    It you stop getting crashes, the turn one add-on back on run it a while, if it's ok, turn on the next, and so on.
    But if you have WOT, try turning that one off first.
