Random messages\problems when receiving emails WLM 2012

Since this weekend i have been encountering random errors with Windows Live Mail 2012 and i feel it is taking more time to get the messages. This is an example of the errors:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (i omitted e mail for security) account. Header download for the 'RECIBOS MISC.' folder did not complete. Could not update cached message flags with IMAP server.Server Response: The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.Server: 'imap-mail.outlook.com'Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0FProtocol: IMAPPort: 993Secure(SSL): Yes

Some other time the error shows up, but with the Inbox. The problems only occur for e-mail accounts related to Hotmail\Outlook.

It's time to start using Windows Mail app or another email client, support for Windows Live Essentials 2012 (including Windows Live Mail) has ended in January. Read more here: Windows Essentials 2012 will reach end of support on January 10th 2017 - - Windows 10 Forums

This means that Windows Live Mail will become more and more vulnerable and possible bugs will not be fixed anymore.

See these tutorials to get started if you are interested in Windows Mail app:

I stopped using the mail app that comes with Windows 10 because it won't let mark or highlight every email message for deleting. Is that available now? And is it possible to export the accounts to Windows Mail app?

Win 10 Mail App has had Mail Selection for some time.
It generally sets up the Mail Accounts itself. No actual need to import account details from something like WLM 2012 they would be wrong anyway. WLM 2012 is no longer supported as already mentioned.

Why not just use/try it. It does not stop you trying others.
