Having trouble with emails sent directly from a website

I am having trouble sending an email when it is sent directly from a website. As an example, I visit a website daily where I can click on the option to email a comic strip. Recently the emails stopped getting sent. All looked ok on my end, but the receiver never got the email. This is happening on other websites as well. I have had this problem in the past on employment websites. I missed out on several job opportunities because, although it looked like my email with resume attached was sent, it never actually was.

I have looked at my settings and found nothing to deal with this problem. I have no problems sending or receiving emails from my regular outlook account.

Has anyone else had this issue? I would really like to know how to fix it.

    Thanks

Welcome to the TenForums @linda f

Given you have a friend that you send comic strips to has this person searched their Junk / spam folder to see if it is being mis-sorted.

I would try sending comic strip to yourself and see how your outlook.com handles.

You didn't mention which browser you are using to get to web site and subsequently their mail. Have you tried an alternate browser. Hopefully your friend could test this with you as well.

I did try sending it to myself....didn't work. Friend has checked junk email...they didn't get it. My browser is Google.

When I click on the icon that allows me to send an email it is Outlook that comes up and that is who I use. This happens with any website I try to email from....Craigslist, Cooking sites (when I try to email myself a recipe), the comic site. Makes me feel like it is more at my end than anything else. I just don't know where to go to see if I have a setting that is screwing things up. I have checked my email settings and my internet settings.

    Thank you for your response.

Okay. Sorry but have to ask. When you say you click and it bring up Outlook do you mean outlook.com within your browser or Outlook 20xx (acquired within the Office suite or Office 365).

Not to be confused with Outlook the app or Windows 10 mail.

I assume, and I know I shouldn't do that, when you you said your regular Outlook account you meant outlook.com accessed through your browser.

Hmmmm....Maybe I'm assuming that it is bringing up an Outlook email. In the comic website...Gocomics.com it opens a blank email, but I am able to put the first letter of the email address and the rest pops up, so I'm also assuming it is Outlook because it is using my contacts list. On other websites it just asks for the email address I want to send it to.

It is not Outlook the app or Windows 10 mail. Yes, you assume correctly, regular outlook.com accessed through my browser.

I went to their web site. Two options for sending.

One you click on share link, enter your friends email, ad personal message and send or you copy and paste link from that window into your email client.

    Which are you using?

I click on the little envelope and the blank email comes up. I shouldn't say blank, it does have the comic link in the body. Clicking on share link does nothing.

Can you include screen print. You may have to process through Pint to remove personal stuff like email address and things we shouldn't see.

It will not let me print/take picture of the actual email template. What show's up for you when you click on the envelope for an email?

    I didn't get account.

Type snipping in Cortana, start snipping app and take a screen grab and paste into paint.
