I've exported selected event viewer events to the attached file "selectedEvents.txt" it will not allow uploads of extension .evtx
Therefore the selectedEvents.txt would need renaming to selectedEvents.evtx to read in event viewer.

Sorry, no fix offered, I firmly believe it's MS social engineering users off of IE, preferably to Edge. I use Edge almost exclusively now because of continued miscellaneous issues with IE on my desktop running W10 Home. My wife has the same problems on one of her laptops that's running W10 home.

Both of us have laptops running W10 Pro and there's not nearly the problems using IE, I think since most enterprise customers still use IE it's not coded to have problems on boxes running the Pro version.

Edge is still not nearly a full featured browser yet, when you click to open a link in a new tab there is no option what to do with the new tab. Workaround Ctrl+shift while clicking open in new tab and it becomes the active/front tab. Small annoyance but something minor that one would think would be offered along with tabbed browsing.

My main reason for using it most of the time is it works like IE used to before W10 and Edge. I use Firefox and Waterfox (64x browser) sometimes and they don't have any problems. That's why I believe this is strictly a Microsoft engineered code to introduce minor issues and various other annoyances in IE. People get tired of it and will quit using IE.

In the right side of the Event Viewer, there is an Event ID number. Recommend you "google" that event number for further info. It will link you to Microsoft and other forums, including this one.

As a trial, I would recommend you completely uninstall RoboForm toolbar, including registry entries. If you google RoboForm, you will see it has compatibility problems with all browsers. If you are using it for password management, there are other alternatives like LastPass.

All my boxes are either pro edition or enterprise, so that theory is not likely for me. I've used robo form for 5-6 years never an issue with it, on 4 different PC. I tried without robo form... no effect. it's looking like googling even Id from event viewer is my last hope
