Unable to Export Contacts from Outlook 2016 on Windows 10

I need to export my Outlook 2016 Address book to a .csv file. I have done this many, many times in the past but now after I run the export the resulting .csv file when opened with Excel is completely blank except to row 1 which contains the headings title, first name, middle name, etc. No data is below that line and of course when I try to import the file on another computer it doesn't.

I just successfully ran an export/import operation a few days ago. What could be causing this and how do I fix it?

Here is a screen shot of the exported csv file as seen by Notepad. I hope it helps solve the problem. The stuff on the far right seems to be from Calendar and I don't have clue how it got there.

Let me start with please pardon the question. I have Outlook and sometimes it has a mind of its own.

Are you syncing Outlook 2016 with another mail service, like Outlook.com (formerly hotmail, formerly msn, etc).

I ask as the contact folder appears multiple times with the views exploded, at least on mine. Likely only one has real info.

I found many 'unavailable' entries in the People tab. I deleted all of them one by one and that solved the problem
