There certainly are applications you can buy to remove them.
However, there's a fairly easy process to do this manually. It's described in this support article from Microsoft: Delete duplicate calendar items.

I have Calendar UK holidays with my email address next to it. Birthday's calendar this computer only paul's Calendar and UK Holidays with my email address next to it. Which calendar should I be using for to use on the computer and my mobile? For some reason my appointments are all over the place. Office 2010 pro was far nicer and neater than Office 2016 pro.
Any calendar folder that is followed by your email address indicates that it's a calendar downloaded from Outlook.com. "This calendar only" indicates that it's being created by Outlook 2016 from birthdays entered in the Contacts folder.
I'm not clear what suffix follows "Paul's calendar", so I can't tell whether it's preferable to the "Calendar".
Personally, I display all of my calendars -- both my personal and my shared -- simultaneously using overlays in Outlook 2016.
So I take it the calendar with my email address will give me access on my mobile too. Correct?
