Is there a way to change appointments in Outlook 2016 instead of going on the web to change it in Outlook? Seems stupid to have to go on the web when your Calendar is right there.

In Outlook 2016, simply open (double click) any calendar item to edit it and close saving changes:

Yes but I keep getting emails from Outlook web app saying Daily schedule for 9th of November for example. Even when I edit from the phone it doesn't seem to sync with Outlook web app.

Not to hijack this thread, but I find the same problem in my Outlook 2016 with Outlook Calendar (since the conversion to OWA by Outlook.com).

It's worse when I try to make changes to calendars shared with me on Outlook.com. They're marked as read-only folders, and I can't change their permissions.

And, any changes I make in my owned calendars aren't replicated to my SO's Outlook 2016.

    Curious!

Kari's solution fixed my problem -- but I had to install Outlook for Android before I could fix the same issue on my phone, not the Android Calendar application.

Slow down, mate. Let's take this one step at a time.

Did you try to do what Kari suggested for my problem? If so, if you deleted your Outlook.com account in Outlook 2016, you will temporarily lose all your account data -- messages, contacts, appointments, etc. -- but they should still be safe on Outlook.com. Use your browser to confirm this; if this is all good, then we're doing fine.

Now, please explain what you mean by "now i can't add my Outlook address automatically ". Is this a problem with File/Account/Add Account? Or, are you saying that you can't find your Outlook address book from within Messages? "Need more input".

Have I changed my email server because all my appointments have disappeared. But if I go to Outlook online they are all there. I don't understand why?

This sounds like you're not synching up between Outlook.com & Outlook 2016. Let's work through that, first:

Is your account on Outlook.com, Outlook.co.uk, or some other service?

When you go onto the web site, in the upper left-hand corner, does it say "Outlook" or "Outlook Mail"?

Once we answer this, then we can go further into your account configuration.

"Stay calm and carry on". We'll go through this together.

Thanks for replying. I kept the eas.outlook.com on Outlook. And automatically set up my email address and it worked. I then removed eas.outlook.com and it worked. But I have another question.

My appointments appear with the same appointments appearing 4 sometimes 6 times.. Is there a way to clean duplicates up? So I only have one appointment of the same?

Or do I need to do it manually?

    Thank you in advance.
