Will IE 11 still be there when I upgrade to Windows 10?

    Hi folks,
Just joined this forum to ask a (probably) silly question: If I decide to upgrade to Windows 10 on July 29, will Internet Explorer be completely replaced also by Windows Edge? Or will IE 11 still be on the pc? It's just that I have to use IE 11 to access my bank account. The bank , First Direct, won't support any other browser.
    Thanks for any help.

Yes. It's not front and center, and Edge (Spartan) are the default.

If you upgrade and the icon is an the taskbar before hand, it should be there after the upgrade. If for some reason it's not, you'll find it using search, and also you should be able to set it to default, in settings menu default programs(which I'll do).

Thanks guys. I thought the upgrade would just over-write the old IE 11 or delete it but you say it will still be there, then fine. All I have to do now is decide if I want to upgrade to Windows 10 or stick with 7!!
Just to let you know that I am very happy with Windows 7.
    Thanks again.

I cannot find IE. I did a search and it did not find it. I tried to download IE and the reply was that I already have it loaded. What do I do next ?

You have to look for it, but it's there and works fine. Follow this path and you should see it: This PC>local diskn(c)>program files>Internet Explorer>iexplorer.exe. Make a shortcut to your desktop or pin it to you task bar. It will even have all your old favorites.

You can get there several ways. From the Start menu pick File Explorer. You should be able to see your C drive on the left. You might have to click on This PC to see it. Once in the C drive just follow the path I gave above.

Sorry, I thought that your response was a question, not a statement. Guess I should look for punctuation.
