Windows 10: Outlook Sign in - make it go away!
There is no "Remember me" box. See my original post! Microsoft must have done something to screw up Outlook.com a couple of days ago since I did not have the issue before that and I have not changed anything. The same problem exists on several of my systems so it ain't just a messed up copy of W10.
If you click sign in it will take you straight there but why do we need this middle step.

It's not doing it to me? I see an opening your mailbox prompt with a progress bar and then I'm in. Windows 10 Education 1607 Build 14393.321
I must admit I find it strange that no other users have noticed this issue.
I've been getting that crazy Sign in screen for days now too, but it just now went away. Go figure!
Edit: Spoke to soon, it's back.

Good to see I'm not the only Outlook.com user with the problem!!
In case anybody's interested, the problem with the Sign in screen is only when I'm using IE11. When I use Edge or Chrome all is well. So... something changed in IE11 a few days ago that is causing the problem. Maybe this is MFT's way of getting people to quit using IE11?!
I have both the windows 10 mail app and office outlook installed but when emailing a document from within windows file explorer it always tries to send it using Outlook.
Is there a way to get it to default to send using the Mail app instead?
I know that a huge part of Windows 10 is that they are trying to make it all on the cloud, but I feel MUCH more secure with everything on my computer. I will want to use the cloud for some things, but not for everything.
The thing I want to avoid...
I have been using a new Dell Inspiron 5555 Laptop running the new Windows 10 Home for two days and it is kicking my butt.
Right now one of my biggest problems is trying to establish a Default Mail Provider but when I check Default...
I cannot make Outlook 2016 default email client. I try tru the setting...default and it looks like it is the default. Then I get an error window that says there is no email default and I should set it up in Outlook 2016. When I try it takes me back...
