My mistake. The culprit is KB 3185330. KB3175024 is installed. Not sure where that leaves me. But the Google Toolbar survives and operates correctly...for now.

FYI...you will need (KB3175024 or KB3194798) install...before future cumulative update will be install (W7,W8.1,W10)...This was intended!! ...now Microsoft can continue with their roadmap with BING, Toolbar, EDGE and IE11 auto search suggestions, and search history and Google toolbar is gone, no where in sight.

Y'OK...just disable Windows update copy&paste How To Change Windows Update Settings (Windows 10, 8, 7+)

with the roadblock in place, Microsoft can continue with their roadmap with BING, Toolbar, EDGE and IE11 auto search suggestions, and search history and Google toolbar is gone, no where in sight.

October, 2016 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 (3185330)...Windows 10 is (KB3194798)

It just takes some effort by Google to make this right and give us the Google Toolbar and Search History back again.............

But since Google announced that there won't be a Toolbar for Firefox anymore I have no hope that Google will correct this Win 10 - IE11 issue. It's just their loss, as Bing will become prevalent as a default install..........

Fore my clients that I support we just made their Homepage in IE11 Google,. They are ok with that but lost the Search History.

These KB are bugging me...KB3194798 W10....KB3185330 W7 are right one...I think auto search suggestions, and search history are "hidden" in the IE browser, just waiting for a switch to be turn on...maybe a fix in Nov cumulative update.

Yes I understand that you can do that but I want my Win 10 updates as they fix other Win 10 problems, issues, and flaws.

This is a Google problem and not an MS one. It's up to Google to fix it and I doubt that they will. I just make Google my Home Page in IE11 and gain the same auto-site suggestions just as the Toolbar. I do lose the Search History but that is not a big loss for me.

I'm also starting to use Firefox more as IE11 doesn't work correctly on a few sites that I go to often and FF does. You can select Google as the default search engine in FF and there is the search window there that works the same for Google auto-site suggestions, just no history.

The Win10 update on 28 Oct restored the Google Toolbar problem originally solved by hiding KB3194798 on my computer. The culprit is KB3197954, which I have now uninstalled and hidden to restore auto search.
