Well I've changed my mind and am now using a browser called Brave!
It's easy to use, fast and seems secure.

May I ask opinions please. What is the best browser to use or is it just a choice up to the user?

My Primary browser is Chrome. I like the integration with Google's backup service.

I do have a couple of other browsers installed. Opera is one. I like it. It seems to have a modest memory footprint. Another I use, or used to use, is Torch. I like how it's modeled on Chrome / Mozilla, and has very much the same settings panels. On occasion, I've used its built-in torrent download feature. However... it seems to have a security flaw. I somehow stumbled onto a site that tried to inject a virus in my computer. It contaminated all of the Torch files. Malwarebytes was able to remove the virus, but then I discovered my Torch installation was completely gone. No sign of it anywhere -- not in the Programs list, not even in the main software registry (although there were still Torch keys scattered around).
