emails not working

    emails not working


    my outlook account keeps freezing when I'm sending an email. and then when I go to get out of it.... it says your email hasn't been sent do you still want to continue. also when I'm typing sometimes it will come up with a red line underneath my words as if my spelling is not correct, although it is. then when I try to change it all it has is inspect element and then I go into that and I cant do anything more due to I don't understand it..... so it saying stuff like this and more

    Is the account set up for deltasync or imap/pop server settings?
    If deltasync has the outlook account been upgraded to the new sync setting? Go to webmail & if it says outlook mail in the top left-hand corner it has.
    If imap is the outgoing server correct?

    sorry mate I'm still new to this. so how do I upgrade. on my tab it has outlook.com and if I go to the menue I can go to excel or word online along with other ones such as one drive and so on and so forth.... so I'm not sure if that's what you ment or not get back to us

    If this is on webmail (Sign in to your Microsoft account) then everything should work, if you use an email client (Windows mail, Windows live mail) then we need to check settings.
    Is your internet/wifi connection stable?
    As for the red line it may be that it's trying to correct spelling in US English while you're writing in UK English or visa versa so it would underline perceived spelling errors.

    so I have windows 10. I don't know how to check for an updated version. my internet connection is stable. as for the spell check how do I check if its uk or usa in outlook.com????

    There isn't a spellchecker for the mail app afaik but I would think that it would use the default language the PC is set for.
