    Edge Favorites.


    I just noticed after doing a clean install of windows 10 1607, that my favorites in ms edge are gone. Is there anyway to get them back?

    You did a clean install... which deletes everything. Why would you think they were still there? Favorites are not synced in the cloud.

    If you don't have a backup, there's not much you can do.

    When you did the clean install, did you format your disk?

    There may still be a Windows.old directory, and that may still contain your favorites. However, favorites in Edge are stored in a database, not as a links on disk like in IE. So you will need to copy the database over your new one (if it exists).

    It would be located at:

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\Us er\Default\DataStore

    and the same in c:\windows.old\users
