Cannot Add POP3 Account to Mail App in 10074

    Cannot Add POP3 Account to Mail App in 10074


    I may be trying to do something impssible but when I try to add any one of several pop3 accounts I have with Cox.net I am told by the Mail App "I couldn't find info for that account." I tried doing this by opening the Mail App,Add Account, Other Account and then entering the email address an its password.

    I must be doing something wrong or quit possibly impossible.

    POP3 works that way but for POP mail you need the port settings, etc. and maybe they don't have them for Cox yet
    Also it takes awhile to sync.............
    Windows had, or found, my settings but it still took awhile to sync
    Keep trying.............. they may be adding port settings as fast as they can and /or as requests come in
