The new extensions for Edge don't work

So I've just finished updating my Windows 10 to the new Version 1601 (aka the Anniversary update) and instantly went to install AdBlock. First of all AdBlock Plus didn't install correctly so it always prompted me to reinstall. I eventually gave up and installed regular AdBlock successfully. The problem with it is that it doesn't appear in the new Extensions list. I know that there probably isn't a fix out just yet but I wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing this problem :)

    Hi

    Yes same issues here.

I don't really use it, but wanted to try it again. Favourites don't import or work correctly and when you do get some sorted out and start dragging them, it crashes the program. This now happens every time. It is still a work in progress - shame.

... same here with three extensions (Office / MouseGestures / Pinterest) ... tried several ways to get out - no chance!
NEW MS SURFACE PRO 4 ...

But not only that: all apps I installed since update close suddenly after I second!

Any Chance to solve or should we go back to previos version?

Yeah, same here. All extensions, even Microsoft's own extensions won't install:

Have you downloaded the patch on Windows Update? I think its meant to help with some extensions.

The Anniversary update was released 6 hours ago in my Country because apparently they're delivering it to different regions at different times throughout the next weeks so I haven't received any extra patches yet.

    Here is one solution:

Open Windows Power Shell and write "Get-AppxPackage *kindle* | Remove-AppxPackage"

Instead of "kindle" just write Name of your app.

    Tada!!!! Everything Works Fine ....

    Fixed it too (I think).

Go to Settings > System > Apps & Features > Uninstall the problem Edge Extension(s)

Go to Store > manually search the store for the extension, then install it again. After it's installed, click the 'Launch' button and it will take you to Edge where you can set it up.
