    Yahoo Mail Problem

Lately, I'm having difficulty reaching my Yahoo mail accounts. I get a message: "Can't reach this page". I'm wondering if anyone else is also having difficulties. Fortunately, I have other email providers (Hotmail, Gmail and Proton mail). Rarely, Yahoo will work normally. I've tried shutting down my VPN, but problem persists.

What browser are you using to access Yahoo mail?
Make sure in the address bar you are using https:// and not http:// before yahoomail.com
Also, clear the browser data before attempting again.

I usually use Edge browser, but have same situation with Chrome. The website is correct. Thanks.

Have not experienced the issue with my Yahoo mail acct.

Have you cleared your cookies and temp files with CCleaner or similar program ? May reset Edge and Chrome to see if any difference.

Also, troubleshoot your internet connection and flush dns.

Right click on the start menu and choose Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
Type in the command ipconfig /flushdns

Have done all of the above, Torre. I'm giving up here and dumping Yahoo. No problems with my other mail services.

Interestingly, I can reach my Yahoo inbox on my iPad. So, there's something inherent in Windows that's preventing me. At least, I found my inbox had no important messages that needed immediate response.

Well, I fixed the problem. I found I needed to completely uninstall Nord VPN. I've been using it almost a month to test it out. I also tried shutting it off to see if that would help. No, it needed complete removal. I'm back to using my tunnelbear VPN, which has always worked fine. It's strange that such a highly rated VPN as Nord would present a problem.

BTW, yesterday, I suddenly couldn't get on the Internet. Shutting Nord off didn't help, either. Again, the complete uninstallation of Nord fixed both issues. Go figure!

    Glad you solved the issue.

Were you using Nord at all times when on the internet ? Interesting that it required complete uninstallation.

Yes, I generally had it running every time I was on the Net. Consummate experimenter that I am, I'm now trying Windscribe VPN. I'll report if there are similar issues.

I Just discovered something "funny" today. I'm using my newer HP laptop, running W10 plus Nord VPN and it's working normally whereas my other laptop, same OS, wouldn't work with Nord VPN installed. Getting stranger by the day. Maybe I need to give it more time since I don't use my HP machine as much as my Toshiba.
