    Browser Trials

After weeks of trying different browsers, always something comes up I don't like. I have finally made this one default, and I don't look like looking elsewhere ever again - IE11. Its been several weeks since I used it last, and maybe some upgrades have made it stronger, but its quite fast too. Couple of things not quite right, yet, like some password saving, but I'm probably 98% there. Edge is also doing very well, but its not my main browser, but it's ok.

edit: in IE11 tools; there is a switch for windows update, when clicked it tells me It cant find 'wuapp.exe' - bug?

I had various passwords successfully save in IE11. Then today, they had all gone!! I give up.

I just dove into it. Noting like an all at once approach for me.

What I don't like about Edge is the lack of settings, its abysmal. Also apparently I cant 'use some features' unless I am logged in on a Microsoft account. No, I wont. I do have one but the MS account facility insists on passwords even to log in.

For me being logged into my MS account has never been an issue so I don't have that issue with accessing all of the features and the new extensions.

when setting up a new pc, if you don't read the lickle letters properly, you have to log in with a MS account. I click on use local account, and that's the best.

I don't know how or why that would be the best. All it is really is an email account with say, Hotmail. It's not like I'm sharing any personal information with MS.
