    Hi,

Today i started having a weird issue with fullscreen on Youtube.

I have Youtube on my left monitor and twitter on my right monitor.

When I click fullscreen on the youtube video i get one of two problems.

    I either get:

    1. It doesn't go fullscreen at all and has the topbar and taskbar are showing (The red bit is my bookmarks which I have covered up).

    2. It does go fullscreen but as soon as I click on my other monitor the taskbar shows.

    Any help?

    Thanks.
Easy Fix: Swap your video from 1 monitor the other. So if you normally have your video on the monitor with the task bar, move it to the other without the task bar. So therefore there is nothing to show up when you are in full screen and you click over to twitter

That, by definition, is not a fix and barely considered a workaround... I am experiencing this issue still on Windows 10 Version 1703 KB4016240 and Google Chrome 58.0.3029.81. It only occurs on my main desktop and not on my secondary desktop, both have taskbars.

A quick Fix for this for those using Windows 10, is You need to first Right click on the task-bar, and then go down the list of actions and click the settings, Next find where it says "Automatically hide the task bar in desktop/tablet mode" (depending on whether your using a Windows 10 Desktop or laptop, or if your using a Windows 10 tablet). That's it Voila, if it doesn't work then I don't know what will...

For now just use F11 to fullscreen your browser and it'll work fine, little annoying but it gets you true fullscreen video at least.

    1. Go to task manager
    2. scroll down to Windows Explorer
    3. Right click and click restart

    Solution:
Right click Windows Start Menu and Select "Task Manager"
    Locate Windows Explorer in "Processes"
Click Windows Explorer and Select "Restart"
    Enjoy!

    Woop!

Hi! If this happens in games as well, all you do is right-click the taskbar, go to settings and do Automatically hide taskbar in desktop and tablet mode! Voila! It's done!

It is now the year 2020; why am i still having this very issue??? Hasn't MS sorted it yet?
Changing the taskbar settings Does Not Work
It's aggravating to have to restart explorer each and every time

The Easiest 'workaround' i have found is to open up the IE browser and then close it; the taskbar goes away and we can then enjoy our video in full screen.

Why would opening and closing IE make the taskbar go away?
Is there now a Permanent Fix for this?

    Thank you

Solution? It is way too aggravating for us to have to go through that each and every time. The year is now 2020; one would think that MS would have a permanent FIX, yeah?
