Edge Browser Hijacked by MPC Safe Navigation - search MPC

Edge Browser Hijacked by MPC Safe Navigation - search MPC. I tried a few of the suggestions for removal I found on-line. Most ask me to check "services" or "background service" but I could not find the program anywhere. Apparently it does have it's own uninstaller, if you could find it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

A couple of things come to mind, if you have Ccleaner installed, check under "Tools" >>>"Startup" to see if you can find it's startup and then you can disable or delete it. Then, go to the "Uninstall" tab and see if you can find the program and uninstall it.
You then should run MBAM and your AV after.

Thanks Cliff but it doesn't show up in CC Cleaner "Tools" >>>"Startup" . MBAM , Super Anti Spyware and Browser Hijack could not find it. It seems the only thing that can find it is "EDGE". I noticed on line some of the people have MPC as an phony antivirus worm. I just seem to have the browser hijack. Thank you anyway I'll keep trying...it's just annoying as hell...you have to do one search in the "EDGE" search bar then you get taken to MPC and you have to enter your search parameters again. Thanks again.

You can try nuking the browser.
What I mean is clean out everything. Close the browser and reopen it, let it resync, then try using it again.

I mean clean the browser out totally. open settings, clear browsing data, choose what to clear, check off everything, let it clear all data, close the browser and reopen it, then try using it again, and see if the problem persist.

    Check out this YouTube video.

    Basically to find it,
    open Task Manager,
find it in the Processes tab,
right click it and choose open file location,
    find the uninstaller there.

Remove MPC Safe Navigation, a.k.a. search.mpc.am - YouTube
