Why Can't I Sign Into Chrome?

What happened here?

Are you talking about that silly, stupid Built-in Admin acct, or whatever that is? I'm using the one that allows me to use MS Edge, and Calc, and MS Games like Windows USED to be before they fixed crap that wasn't broken! Oh! And I tried for at least a month to get that fixed so I COULD use those apps. Are any of you set up the same way I'm set up?

Did you go to the link posted above and look at the selections derekimo showed you??

Also at some point, just to check your windows, you should try running SFC /Scannow from your command prompt Admin
to make sure your Windows is ok. Unless one of those choices in that Google link fixes your sign in issue 1st.

A very longshot this might work, but no harm checking it out.

Assuming you have a Chrome desktop shortcut.
Right click at it > click Properties > at the top, click Compatibility tab > at Compatibility Mode heading, is there a checkmark at " Run this program in compatibility mode for " ?
If yes, UN-check it > click OK when done.

See if you can sign in now.
