How to stop frequently recurring Script Error messages?

Hello. Does anyone know how to stop frequently recurring Script Error messages? I have run a few different virus scans and CCleaner. None of them found anything so I don't know if the problem is caused by a virus/malware or if it's a Windows 10 issue.

Background: Upgraded to Win 10 last month. Tried Edge but didn't like it so switched back to Internet Explorer, and that's when the problem started. When online, I get Script Error messages on many sites (but so far not here, whew), and have to click either Yes/No or X several times to get rid of the message.

I have IE (in “Advanced”) set to disable scripts on IE and everywhere else and to not repeat the Script Error message (sample pic attached; the links change each time), but it still happens. TIA

As mentioned, I had already adjusted all those settings yet still get loads of Script Error messages. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

My apologies. I did miss that. Have you been back into Advanced Settings to see if the settings stuck? Should have checked two items and unchecked one. as in.....

I'm sure you have, just covering the bases. I've never seen it not work but then Windows 10 is kind of a new animal. If all three items are showing their desired state my only other suggestion would be to hit the lower right "Reset" button and try again. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than myself will have another suggestion.

Yes, those two boxes are checked and the one about displaying a notification about every script error is not checked, but the problem continues.

    Thanks.

In case anyone else can't stop recurring Script Error messages, I found a solution for my computer and read online that the solution has worked for others too. Sadly, I had to remove the Google Toolbar. That did it, no more Script Error messages. I have used the Google Toolbar since it first was available and will miss it.
