How do I export messages and accouns in windows 10 mail
I want to export the accounts and messages in Windows 10 mail app so that I can import them into Windows 10 mail on another PC.
How do I do it?

Mail is a limited client. There is no simple option to do that. See:

You may wish to consider using a full email client and move to that.

Basically you can't, other than an individual message to an *.eml file.
The idea is that Email Accounts are set up with IMAP. Thus Emails are stored on the Mail server and each PC with the Mail App is setup with the same Account(s). Thus both are synced to the Mail server.
I stopped using POP for Emails some years ago.

Hi, never used it so can't comment I'm afraid; after I got fed up with MS's 'now you have a client, now you don't' from Vista to Win 8 I gave up on MS and went for Thunderbird. However that is now seeking donations as the Mozilla foundation isn't supporting it.
There are others... one big advantage of Tbird is that the data (rules, accounts, messages etc etc) are in 1 place; Outlook Express used to have these spread all over the place, so 3rd party support needed for back up and transfer. I don't know about Outlook.

Yes, Walter, Outlook 2016 is considered a full email client, that does have a folder structure where you can retain and organize your messages off-line. It works with not only Outlook servers, but also IMAP & POP3 servers. With IMAP, you can configure whether to remove downloaded messages from your server account; with POP3, that option isn't available.
However, Outlook 2016 is a full-fledged personal organizer that also contains Contacts, Calendar, and To-Do (task list) applications. It therefore might be a bit daunting at first, but try using it for only Mail first until you're more comfortable with it.

Yes use Outlook 2016 as you have it.
Thunderbird proved unreliable here, so I don't use it.

That is about as wrong as it could be!
With IMAP and Exchange accounts, all messages are always kept on server and only deleted when you delete them on your email client or online on Web UI. These accounts do not have to be exported and imported to other computers; as all messages and contacts that have not been deleted by user are always kept on server, you just simply set up the account on another computer and it will get all messages.
With IMAP and Exchange accounts, you cannot select to remove messages when read from server.
With POP3 accounts you can select in Outlook settings (or settings of any other email client) if you want to delete messages from server when read to client, or keep them also on server.
If you want to use a POP3 account on several computers and / or several email clients on a single computer, simply select Leave a copy of messages on the server, and unselect Remove from server after XX days (Outlook default is 14 days) in account settings:

I hope you didn't take my opening sentence in the reply personally. it's just that there is so much misunderstandings about IMAP, Exchange, POP3 that I thought that clarifying it was important.
Actually, it's Kiitos paljon (Finnish) or Tack så mycket (Swedish).
Vielen Dank is German, the language of my adopted home country, but Thank you in my two native languages Finnish and Swedish is as told above
