Hotmail account

My email address ends in @Hotmail.com.I receive emails with no problems,when I compose a new email or forward
on emails,more times than not I get the error message "Can`t connect to Outlook please try later"with a CLOSE button.
When I click CLOSE the message is "You are about to throw away these messages without sending them".The only option
then is CONTINUE.The messages always show in the "sent" folder, some get to the receipient and some don`t.
Any idea whats going on?

Are you logging into the account by way of web browser or by the new Mail app? For older WLM and Hotmail as well as Live accounts you would want the Windows Essentials 2012 over the new Mail app.

Logging in directly online you would add the destination is as a new contact if not already in your address book there so the emails being sent will go through. I find that every time I go to send an email out to a new contact and forget to add the address in first as a new contact the draft will be saved. I see that with both the old Live accounts as well as at times with the accounts at outlook.com
