Also sent a couple of frowns. Don't think MS wants one every time.
FYI, the problem exists on my laptop where its installed as the only OS.
I also have it installed on one of my work desktops with Oracle VM and have no problem. Its pretty neat with a dual monitor setup, W-8 on one and W-10 on the other.

IE 11 in build 10041 continues to act rather 'buggy', whereas while using firefox browser..it continues to perform great. Come on Microsoft..fix your browser, or give us Spartan to play with.

I'm not quite sure you understand what running pre-release software is about...

It's not to give you perfect software for you to play with. It's about giving you software so you can find the problems that are with it. If you find bugs, that's great because you're identifying problems that will get fixed.

    Mystere,
I don't know if your comment "I'm not quite sure you understand what running pre-release software is about..." was meant for me or not..but I'm well aware of what pre-release software is all about. The entire point of it is to 'hopefully' get most of the bug's cleared up before the final release. And NO..I'm not throwning any dart's at you..just making a general statement, of which I'm entitled to, just like you.

I'm still crashing as before with 10041. "Internet Explorer has stopped working.......", not every time I open it but often enough.
It's kind of hard to evaluate something when it doesn't work in the first place.
I also fully understand that 10041 is a beta type build and that not everything is going to work.
The reason I came to "TenForums" is the that maybe the issue was "NOT" related to 10041 and I could resolve the problem and continue testing with my browser of choice, IE.
Since all my work is done with IE, it wouldn't even pay to use FF or Chrome in a testing mode.
    Pete:)

cfourkays: What you can try is changing a couple of the settings to use the newer features. I had IE freezing on me constantly and these changes, at least for now, seem to have worked.

In the URL area, enter "about:flags". Then change the first two items (Custom User Agent and Web Platform Features) BOTH to Enabled. Be sure to scroll down and click the Apply Changes button.

    Hope that helps.

Forget it. MS goal is to get you to use Edge and to stop using IE11.

Unless you have some reason to continue to use IE, I would really think about changing to another browser, there is such a range to choose from. IE is no longer being developed which could leave you vulnerable.

What leaves us vulnerable? Hm. I think the constant changes of GUI, forcible changes of passwords, the patent/copyright laws that take away ownership of our equipment and things that make it run, the fascist and oligarch taking over governments, incompetent judges approved by putin senators in US congress and many other countries, consolidation of corporate world -- this is what makes vulnerable.
IE11 will in time become the safest browser on earth by being obsolete - nobody will bother attacking it.
