Tooltips not showing in Chrome
For a while now I've noticed that Chrome isn't showing tooltips anywhere. Either when hovering over links or images. I am not sure what's preventing them from showing.

I have had that in the past, try clearing your cache / SHIFT + F5 / CTRL + F5
See if that helps.

I know this post is fairly old now but I am still having this issue. I can't even see the address bar at the bottom of Chrome.
I have just done a clean install of Windows 10 and don't have any software or security installed yet.
On previous Windows installations I used to roll the mouse pointer over the system tray icons in order to show tooltips like the % level of battery or the volume of the speakers. I also used to left-click in order to change the volume but now...
hi... does anyone know what controls the tooltips for files and videos?
for mp4 it shows the size and the length
and whether it's available offline
for webm and flash it shows the size and the date
and i'd like to make them all the same...
Looks like I spoke too soon - it's gone again. Seems to come and go randomly, sometimes works again after reboot and sometimes not.
Right clicking Google Chrome on my taskbar in Windows 10 isn't showing up with any options such as Incognito mode or my recent/common tabs. I recently refreshed my PC after having issues with Windows 10, before refreshing right clicking chrome only...
