    Windows 10 Mail App

    Hello

First real foray into the inbuilt Windows 10 Mail app, I have set up a POP3 account using advanced setup (because older Bigpond email accounts only do POP3). I've noticed however that the Windows 10 Mail would prefer to manage folders as if the account was IMAP. For example the Sent Items shows no sent mail, but wants you to sync? Aren't sent items for a POP3 supposed to be stored locally?

All good, solved it myself. With POP3, go to the properties of the account and choose "Sync: No". Although oddly, when I Save then go back into properties again, the Sync setting goes back to Yes.
Despite this however a sent email actually shows up in sent items which it didn't before.
