Windows 10: Microsoft Edge explorer

    Microsoft Edge explorer


    Can I uninstall Microsoft Edge and use another explorer with windows 10. Microsoft Edge will not work with java. I can't find microsoft edge in control panel.

    Nope.. Edge is integrated into the OS.

    Click on the start button, type "internet explorer" - It will load and run no problems, you can then add it to the start menu, taskbar and set it as default

    Or simply go to Apps, scroll down to the W's, look in the Windows Accessories or others listed. Right-click Internet Explorer and choose Pin to Start and/or Pin to Taskbar, I do both. On the Start tiles IE will be at the bottom but can be dragged up to a more convenient location.

I ran CCleaner today (Great program by the way!), like I do every couple weeks, and it said that edge and internet explorer needed to close to finish. Thing is, I use neither. So Do they auto run in the background? How can I keep them from starting?

when i open Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge and use any search engines (bing, google, etc..), my search results come back with links that i cannot understand (all except Google, Bing, etc logos), it appears fonts are changed only in search...
