    Thanks everyone, especially Cluster Head.

All three updates installed without any problems on my laptop, but KB3099406 (flash update) was wreaking havoc on my primary machine.

The link to the standalone posted by Cluster Head installed without any problems. Windows Update verified the updates, all set.

After using XP for many years, I absolutely love Win 10, although some of the update issues have been frustrating. I'm sure it will improve.

Were it not for a lot of great posts on this site, I would be lost!

    Thanks again!

Adobe Flash Player 20 Released w. Win 10 and Edge Browser Improvements

New beta version of Flash Player now available

Adobe has recently released a new version of Flash Player, this time coming with fixes and improvements specifically aimed at users of Microsoft’s new Windows 10 operating system.

Version 20.0.0.195 Beta is the very first release of Adobe Flash Player 20, so keep in mind that this is still a beta and bugs continue to exist. But for those who want to see what’s new and for developers who need to optimize their apps for the new Flash Player version, trying out the new release is a must.

    Improvements aimed at Windows 10

Specifically, Adobe Flash Player 20.0.0.195 Beta includes fixes for those who have already updated to Windows 10 and who are using Edge browser instead of Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer. According to the official changelog, this version fixes a problem causing “Flash content to freeze when user inputs multitouch on a 4K multitouch screen on Windows 10 Edge browser.”

Adobe Flash Player 19.0.0.245 Now Available for Download

Adobe has just released a new version of Flash Player, and everyone is recommended to download and install it as soon as possible because it’s expected to fix critical security flaws in the software.

A detailed change log is not available right now because Adobe updated its servers with the new version of Flash Player only a few minutes ago, but given the fact that today we’re celebrating Patch Tuesday and security fixes are the hottest topic of the day, it’s only natural to expect such improvements.
