Just downloaded and installed. Thanks Brink
About a month ago Google began testing a new option in the context menu that allows you to select a region of the page and then do a search with the image that results from that selection. Currently, when you release the mouse (after selecting a region of the page), a new tab automatically opens with the search results:
But Google is going to change the way this feature works, and instead of showing up in a new tab, the search results will show up in the Chrome side panel (the same panel that contains the Reading list items and the bookmarks), this change is already available in the Canary version of Chrome:
In Edge you can do reverse image search in the Bing sidebar and you can also select a text and search for it in that sidebar, this new feature in Chrome is somehow similar.
