As soon as you click in Help / About menu, it automatically checks for updates. Then it will tell you if your up to date or not.
That checkmark shows that your up to date.

This PC is still up to date on 116 - the blog does say "Systems will be receiving updates over the next several days."

Unfortunately, that is for the Chrome OS instead of Windows.
