    WebUI Tab Strip...

Okay, it's a work in progress, I get it, but...,

I am diligently trying to find a usefulness for this feature..., it's not there yet!

I wish they would enlighten us on where they're goin with this.

On a touch device, you can swipe the tab strip closed but not open it.

Why the thumbnails change shape with the size of the window? Dunno!

(Why my address bar is now white? Dunno!)

Since a few days ago, there is a new flag in Chrome Canary:
Latest Google Chrome released for Windows-impulse-style-scroll-flag..png

The purpose of this new flag (along with others) is to add a new animation when scrolling, this new animation is the same that is available in Edge (old and new). Until yesterday, this flag had no effect in Chrome Canary, but in the build released today, it already works, here is the comparison between the flag disabled (or default) and enabled:

This is how this animation works (explained by Microsoft):

EdgeHTML has a specific style of scroll animations that give it a personality not found on other platforms. The main idea is that each “tick” of the mouse wheel tries to mimic a physical-based world where content starts moving quickly (an impulse) and then slows due to friction. One of the benefits of this approach is that the scroll feels more responsive due to the quick ramp-up at the start

I think this animation is designed mostly for touch devices and, as seen in the video, Microsoft has finally managed to bring exactly the same animation (from Edge) to Chrome.

In version 79.0.3945.88 Google has fixed a small bug that had to do with the "toolbar-web contents separator", the bug happened when setting a display scale greater than 100%, by doing this, the separator had a color too dark:

The bug was most noticeable when one of the store's themes was installed:
