In my case and in the case of many others in Reddit and in Disqus to whom I have indicated how to deactivate that, it works perfectly, I have no idea why it doesn't work for you.

It also auto signs you out when you sign out of Gmail.

I mentioned this 4 weeks ago in post #327.

However, Google claims that while singing into Gmail will also sign you into Chrome, it won't automatically cause browser data to be synced with your Google account.
