    The dark mode continues to evolve in Canary, there is a change in the NTP.
    Before:
    Latest Google Chrome released for Windows-search-bar-chrome-bef-trim.png
    Latest Google Chrome released for Windows-search-bar-chrome-22-bef-trim.png

    Now:
    Latest Google Chrome released for Windows-search-bar-chrome-trim.png
    Latest Google Chrome released for Windows-search-bar-chrome-22-trim.png

    And a small addition in the menu of the tabs, "Show URL":
    Latest Google Chrome released for Windows-show-url-trim-ten-f.png
    Although this can also be done with double click.

    For those who don't know yet, if you want to see the NTP with the native dark mode, you can already do it in the stable version of Chrome, it's very easy, right click on the Chrome shortcut and choose Properties, in the end of the target field add this: --force-dark-mode and OK.

    NTP with a store theme:

    NTP with the native dark mode:
    Latest Google Chrome released for Windows-native-dark-theme.png

    Due to the omnibox and the names of the icons I prefer the native dark mode, of course it has some bugs, for example the white line that appears below (or above) the bookmarks bar (which doesn't disappear) and some others but, if you don't mind that, you can enable it to have the benefit of the dark omnibox.

    The native dark mode (Canary) now changes according to the settings set in Windows 10:
