    It seems that the Chrome team is undecided about what the new animation will be when loading a new tab, in the Canary version a new one has appeared (although it had been testing for a few days, only until today they fixed some bugs that had the animation):






    Personally, I like this new animation and how the corners of the square icons expand.

    It is now possible to enable the dark theme in the Settings, Downloads, History and extensions pages in Canary, also in the Bookmarks manager:






    See Chrome New Tab Page, History and Downloads Pages with Dark Mode now.

    Although in that article the Settings and extensions pages or the Bookmarks manager are not mentioned.
