If you use Ctrl+Shift+Q shortcut to close all windows and tabs in Chrome browser, know this, Google has removed the shortcut in Chrome 70 and now displaying a toast asking users to use Alt+F, X shortcut instead when they press the previous shortcut assigned for Exit.

Alt+F, X is the new shortcut to quit Chrome
Users who have accidentally pressed Ctrl+Shift+Q instead of Ctrl+Shift+Tab and lost their Chrome Windows, reported several times to Chromium team to look into this issue. The bug ‘Remove Ctrl+Shift+Q shortcut and a toast instructing users to press Alt+F, X instead’ created in May 2013, has been fixed recently on September 24, 2018, and the change has been landed on Chrome 70.

FYI, Alt+F opens the Chrome menu, and pressing X, closes the Chrome application completely. The toast notification that alerts users about the change to vanish in Chrome 75.

It's standard windows TC. Alt+F opens the file menu and X executes Exit

So far I realize that the flag mentioned in this tutorial was removed in Chrome 72, I was looking and it seems that there is no longer any flag to go back to the previous design, I'm sorry for those who don't like the new layout, the truth is that I like it a lot.

When the time comes i will give it a chance and try to get used to it. Failing that, Firefox. I've got FF set up and ready to go so it will be a painless transition.

The Chrome flag that we are all using currently does nothing to fix the horrible spacing in the Omnibox dropdown. The flag to fix that is: chrome://flags/#omnibox-ui-vertical-margin

Haven't seen anyone mention it yet.
