    One of the features that will come to the stable version next week is Picture in Picture, this feature already appears by default in the Beta version, a change was recently made in the way the mini-player is resized.

    Before, when resizing it, black bars appeared on the top and bottom or sides:


    The "Compact Overlay" works the same in some UWP apps like Movies & TV:


    Now, those black bars don't appear and the mini-player maintains the aspect ratio:
