    Something I just found out about, and EVERY Chrome user should have it. No, really!
    You can not only check links before going somewhere, you can also check downloads(you need the direct download link, and not the download page!)

    Right-click on any link and scan the target with VirusTotal, free and easy.

    Virustotal is a service that analyzes suspicious files and URLs and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware detected by antivirus engines. It is not a substitute for antivirus or security products, but provides a valuable second opinion on a given file or web site. It is completely free and integrates over 40 antivirus solutions and more than 20 URL scanning tools.

    Have you received a suspicious link in your email inbox? Do you think the site you are currently viewing is a phishing attempt or some other fraud? Ask VirusTotal with just two mouse clicks and avoid infections and other unwanted outcomes.

    Well Colin I don't know how I can "break" a Chrome download if I just download and install it but I will try again and see what happens.

    Edit: Well it went in fine this time and I cannot think of anything different I did to last time I downloaded and installed but at least it is there whether it will be any better than Edge it remains to be seen.

    Chrome Canary and Dev has re-designed the about:flags page with expandable, detailed entries;
    also, user defined settings are highlighted, (so you can actually find them again!)

    Well got fed up with it and Edge to be honest and gone Cyberfox https://cyberfox.8pecxstudios.com/ all your setting s can be inported from Chrome or wherever. Have to say this is the best browser I have used for a long time.

    Sorry Shawn but Chrome did get on my nerves a bit.
