Have just tried Chrome as an alternative to Edge because I am having more than my fair share of email problems using Edge and Outlook.
Now for some hell known reason Chrome now opens with a search page that is full of absolute crap a bit like Bing all I want is a search page with just Google on it I do not want or am in the slightest bit interested in George Clooneys love life or that Donald Trump picked his nose today or that some young thing just got engaged it is absolute garbage to what Google used to be like.
At least in Edge as annoying as it can be is able to be set to just show those favourite site panels so can anyone tell me if Chrome can be set up like that instead of plaster the nonsense it now has all over the start page - if I want to see or read about that sot of material then I can Google it not have it thrust down my throat every time I open a new tab mad:
So does anyone know of how to set up Chrome as I have asked for or is it now in the trendy style that I so dislike and do so with a passion. If it has to stay as is then I am one that is not going to go near it whatever happened to just a plain to goodness search engine because I for one am so fed up with what is going on in computing right now.

Oh well Mike I might ry again because I couldn't find any of those settings when I installed it but if I still get the problems with email then I shall go back to Edge.
