What happens when a user from Chrome wants to import bookmarks or favorites from Microsoft Edge (since Edge HTML was removed from the OS)? It turns out that the favorites are not imported because Chromium reads Edge legacy database and not Chromium Edge database, well, Microsoft is going to fix this bug, this is exactly what it says in the Chromium Gerrit patch:
    Import Bookmarks from Microsoft Edge

Bookmarks from Microsoft edge not imported to chromium because chromium read spartan database which was deprecated after chromium edge.

I fixed the importer to read bookmarks from "C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Bookmarks".

And these are the new features coming to the Global media controls:

    Artwork adjustment:

This CL changes artwork view such that if the artwork is too big, we shrink it down to fit in the square and fill the rest of the square with a background. If no artwork is available, use favicon instead. If neither artwork nor favicon is available, display blank square.

    Add device selector footer view.

    Volume control.

Add volume controls to cast session
There are currently no images of this improvement, but this is definitely one of the most interesting and useful changes IMO.

Google has also made a minor change to the buttons:

This is what the volume slider and the "mute" button will look like:

The "mute" button will work in all sessions and not only in the cast sessions.

Google is working to make the "Send tab to self" feature work even if you have toast notifications disabled.

The "Send tab to self" feature allows you to quickly send pages or links to your different devices:

Currently this feature relies on the system notifications, so, if for some reason you have Chrome notifications disabled on your device, the feature will not work, Google wants to get around this restriction by replacing toast notifications with a new UI that will appear next to the profile icon on the toolbar. This is the current toast notification in Windows 10 when a tab is received:

There is already a flag to enable the new notification UI:

After enable it, the "Send tab to self" icon already appears in the toolbar when a tab is received, but it still doesn't show the notification:
